Website Terms of Use

These terms explain the basis on which you may use the AR Recruitment website, vacancy information, contact routes and interactive career tools.

Last updated: 3 August 2026

1. About AR Recruitment

This website is operated by AR Recruitment, a specialist recruitment business working across mortgage, protection, financial advice, paraplanning and financial-services support roles throughout the UK.

References in these terms to "AR Recruitment", "we", "us" or "our" mean AR Recruitment. References to "you" mean any person using this website.

2. Accepting these terms

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.

Separate terms may apply to recruitment services supplied to a client or employer. Where separate written terms of business have been agreed, those terms take priority in relation to that service.

3. Website information

Website content is provided for general recruitment and career information. We take reasonable care when preparing it, but roles, earnings, benefits, working arrangements, qualification requirements and commercial models can change.

Content on this website is not financial, investment, tax, legal, regulatory or employment-law advice. You should obtain appropriate professional advice before making a decision that requires it.

4. Vacancies and recruitment enquiries

A vacancy page or conversation with AR Recruitment does not guarantee an interview, offer, placement, level of earnings or continuing availability of a role. A client may change, pause or withdraw a vacancy.

Salary, earnings and commission figures may include assumptions or performance-related elements. The confirmed package, targets, costs, employment status, lead position, contractual terms and working arrangements should be checked before accepting a role.

AR Recruitment will not send a candidate's CV or identifying information to a prospective employer without first discussing the opportunity with the candidate and obtaining agreement to proceed.

Submitting an application or enquiry does not create an employment, worker, agency, partnership or other contractual relationship with AR Recruitment or a prospective employer.

5. Candidate responsibilities

If you provide information in connection with a role, you agree to:

  • Provide information that is accurate and not misleading.
  • Tell us when relevant information changes.
  • Only provide documents and personal information that you are entitled to share.
  • Check the final role, remuneration and contractual details directly before accepting an offer.
  • Complete any identity, qualification, regulatory, reference or right-to-work checks lawfully required for the role.
  • Respect confidential information provided about a client, vacancy or recruitment process.

You remain responsible for your career and contractual decisions. AR Recruitment may assist with information and introductions but does not make those decisions for you.

6. Clients and employers

Clients and prospective employers are responsible for providing accurate, lawful and sufficiently clear vacancy information. They remain responsible for their selection decisions, candidate checks, employment offers, contracts, regulatory responsibilities and the fairness and legality of their recruitment process.

Candidate information must only be used for the agreed recruitment purpose and handled in accordance with applicable data-protection law and any separate terms of business.

7. Interactive tools and comparisons

The website may include questionnaires, calculators, working-model comparisons or other interactive tools. Their outputs are indicative and depend on the answers selected and the information available at the time.

An output is not a recommendation, suitability assessment, guarantee of acceptance or confirmation that a particular firm, network or working model is available. Fees, commission splits, funding, client ownership, compliance support and contractual restrictions must be confirmed directly before any decision is made.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the website unlawfully, fraudulently or to harm another person.
  • Submit false, misleading, abusive, discriminatory or malicious material.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its hosting, forms, data or connected systems.
  • Introduce malware, malicious code or material intended to disrupt the website.
  • Scrape, copy or systematically extract vacancy or candidate information without permission.
  • Impersonate another person or submit their personal information without authority.
  • Use confidential vacancy or candidate information for an unrelated purpose.

We may restrict access, remove submitted material or take other proportionate action where these terms are breached.

9. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, AR Recruitment owns or is licensed to use the website design, wording, branding and original content.

You may view, print or save a reasonable extract for personal job-search or internal business-evaluation purposes. You must not reproduce, republish, sell, modify or commercially exploit a substantial part of the website without prior written permission.

11. Website availability and liability

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, current, secure or free from errors. We may update, suspend or remove content or features when reasonably necessary.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that qualification, AR Recruitment is not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of general website content, losses caused by information supplied inaccurately by another party, or failures outside our reasonable control. Business services and related liability are governed by any separate written terms agreed with the client.

You are responsible for using appropriate security protection on your device and for keeping copies of information you submit where needed.

12. Privacy and personal information

Personal information submitted through the website or during a recruitment process is handled in accordance with our Privacy and GDPR Policy. Where the website offers cookie controls, your choices should be managed through those controls.

13. Changes, severability and governing law

We may update these terms when the website, our services or legal requirements change. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised update date.

If a provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law entitles you to bring proceedings elsewhere in the UK.
